also known as Jim
Jim Jenkins earned his BBA in Marketing in 2003 from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. He was sworn in to practice law in the State of Georgia in November of 2009, after receiving his Juris Doctorate from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. From August of 2009 until August of 2010, Mr. Jenkins was the law clerk/staff attorney for the Superior Courts of the Northern Judicial Circuit, primarily working with Chief Judge John H. Bailey, Jr.
Following his clerkship, Mr. Jenkins practiced law with his father, at Jenkins Law, LLC, in a general law practice primarily consisting of domestic relations, personal injury, criminal defense, contract litigation, estate matters, corporate law and real estate law. He spent a great deal of time in the courtroom litigating all types of cases. Subsequently, Jim transitioned to real estate law/closings for approximately one year before deciding that he wanted to help injured people with their legal needs.
Currenly, as a partner with Jenkins Utley, P.C., Jim focuses his practice on personal injury cases, with a strong understanding of many areas of law. His office is conveniently located in the Buckhead area of Atlanta.
Additionally, Mr. Jenkins has been a registered Georgia mediator/neutral since 2010, and has mediated many cases, both privately and for the 10th District Alternative Dispute Resolution program, ranging from personal injury to divorce and custody lawsuits.
