As an exceptional labor and employment law attorney and emerging leader in her community, Pamela works diligently at Elarbee Thompson representing private and government entities in all types of employment-related matters. Pamela provides training to her clients to help prevent workplace disputes and compliance issues, and provides unrelenting advocacy for her business clients in litigation.
Prior to working for Elarbee, Pamela served the public as a Trial Attorney at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission - Atlanta District Office. Before her federal service, Pamela was an attorney at Buckley Beal, LLP, one of Atlanta’s leading employment and business law litigation firms. Here, Pamela represented employees from entry level to executive, specializing in employee rights, severance agreements, race discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, whistleblower claims, and a variety of civil rights cases.
Pamela was a standout student at William & Mary Law School where she was a staff editor for The Bill of Rights Journal and clerk for Magistrate Judge Lawrence R. Leonard for the Eastern District of Virginia. While earning her degree, she was a member of the winning Appellate & Supreme Court Clinic where she drafted briefs to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and was selected as a Peggy Browning Fellow to advocate for workers’ rights in Washington, D.C. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, graduating cum laude and with honors from Rhodes College.
Pamela is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice in both the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia. She is actively involved with the Gate City Bar Association and Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys. Pamela was selected for national membership into The National Black Lawyers - Top 40 under 40 and The Daily Report's 40 under 40 Rising Stars. She was also selected to Leadership Atlanta's program for young leaders - LEAD Atlanta Class of 2020.
