About Kate
Biography
Kate Farmer is a 2016 graduate of the Georgia State University, College of Law, where she was awarded pro bono honors with highest distinction for her volunteer efforts. Kate earned her undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Georgia, where she graduated in 2010.
After graduating law school, Kate worked with The Hillis Firm, gaining general litigation experience; and before that Kate obtained experience with the law firms Bondurant, Mixson, & Elmore, LLP and Hillis, Robison & Coffelt. Kate also has experience working on the judicial side, as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Wendy Shoob with the Family Division of Superior Court of Fulton County.
Kate has been passionate about the area of family law since before attending law school because of her personal background in it growing up. An Atlanta-area native, Kate enjoys discovering new restaurants, running, and playing with her two dogs.
