I contacted Bruce Harvey for a possession charge in Cobb County. He assigned the case to Jennifer she appeared at the arraignment on my behalf. I met with her 1 time. She filed the standard motions, and each time we met she suggested the a plea deal that the DA was offering. She called me up after a ...few months and said that she had been in discussion with the DA and I had been set up. She said that the DA discussed my case at length with her and my upcoming court date was not required for me to appear. She got me locked up, for failure to appear. She never told the Judge that she had gotten the date changed with the DA, she never told the Judge that she had told me that I didn't have to appear she merely said "I take full responsibility" but did not say that she had told me not to come to court. Her excuse was that I would fail the drug test which I did, and have also failed it since. But my Probation officer was wise enough to call my doctor and get proof that failure was due to medication. Jennifer allowed this all to go down right in front of her without any effort of assistance that she was the reason I did not appear . She said that the DA sent her an e-mail that we were not required in court . She never spoke up to tell the Judge that she and the DA had connived against me so that I would be arrested and then they knew after they had me locked up I would accept a plea. She never told the Judge that they told me not to appear. She never told the Judge that I had a prescription that is known to show up on a drug screen.
