Jared Cassity Miller

Jared is a partner with Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs and a member of the firm's litigation practice group. Jared focuses his practice on complex business litigation, with a particular emphasis on business competition issues, intellectual property disputes, and franchise litigation.  Jared has had primary responsibility for handling all aspects of complex litigation matters in federal and state courts throughout the country.  In particular, Jared has substantial experience litigating and counseling clients regarding restrictive covenant, trademark, and trade secret issues and in representing franchisors in litigation against franchisees.  Jared is also experienced representing financial institutions and other commercial lenders in a variety of litigation, arbitrations, and appeals, and he has also litigated several real estate disputes.
 
Prior to joining the firm, Jared was an associate with the Boston office of WilmerHale and the Atlanta office of Dow Lohnes.
 
Jared received his A.B., cum laude, in Government from Harvard in 2001, after graduating in three years. He obtained his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2004. Jared has completed internships with both the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois and the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, Regulated Industries Division.
