Ben was always responsive, helpful and helped me to see things from the bigger picture / long term so that all decisions were made with my kids welfare first and foremost. He was always honest with what I should / could expect, whether or not it benefited me. And there were times when I was "rattle...d" and he would calm me down by explaining what was legally going on and what things meant; always giving me various options and detailing what outcomes each option could lead to. He was never cut throat or deceitful....quite the opposite; he always conducted himself with dignity and integrity in his dealings with me and the opposing party. Divorce / custody disagreements can be very emotional and confusing and Ben helped me make cost effective, wise choices with my children and their well being at the heart of every decision. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who is facing the decision to divorce, especially if children are involved.

I hired Mr Porter to be my lawyer during my divorce in 2011, at the time I was going through medical school and hardly had time to deal with the school, raising a child as a single mum (since my ex-husband and I were separated at the time), and deal with divorce. Mr Porter was very professional and k...ind, he took up the case whole heartedly and did far beyond what I expected, he handled all the communications between my ex-husband and I, he kept me uptodate with every detail of the case, helped collect all the information needed at the court, really worked hard. I moved out of state before the final ruling and he handled all that was needed to be done. Am very pleased to have had Mr Porter as my lawyer, I truly believed God saw what I had to deal with and led me to a trustworthy hardworking person so I'd not get a breakdown.
