Kimani Ismail King

Mr. King is a very hardworking understanding man. I came to him looking for representation very last minute with only two weeks until my first appearance and he was there to talk to me about all my questions and eager to help me through this hard time. He was by far the most reasonably priced lawyer ...I found out all that I did a consult with and I truly believe he enjoys helping people and is not all about a pay day to him. I was charged with possession of a controlled substance as a first time offender and even though it was a pretty straight forward case considering it was found in my vehicle inside my purse Mr. King did not stop there or just try and get me to plea out he fought for me filing motions and finding any loophole he possibly could. Even though we did win our motion to get the evidence thrown out. Mr. King still made sure that even if our motion was denied that I would still be eligible for first offenders so that I would not become a convicted felon over one mistake. In the end I ended up with probation and first offenders so it will be cleaned from my record upon completion of probation and Mr. King offered to come to the court with me half way through my probation and ask for early termination of my probation for good behavior and he offered to do this for me free of charge which I know he didn’t have to do. Thats why I truly believe Mr. King cares about his clients and is very intelligent and trust worthy man. Also This was my first charge so I was very scared and had a lot of questions Mr. King made himself available to me at all times whenever I had a question and was never judged for any of it. I can’t thank him enough for his time and patience.

Attorney King neglected my case and refused to respond to me in a timely matter, if at all, in regards to my case. He would go weeks without returning text, emails, and phone calls. I entrusted a case to him that he failed to take concern over and even delayed by holding off on processes that he made... promises would be handled right away. My case was not given the care and attention promised me by Mr. King. I never felt at ease while my case was in the hands of Mr. King. I was constantly left in the dark about strategy and updates.

HE DESERVES 0 STARS NOT 1. HE REALLY DOES CANCEL COURT WITHOUT ADVANCE NOTICE. YOU WILL SHOW UP TO COURT, ALL OTHER PARTIES WILL SHOW UP BUT HE WILL NOT SHOW UP TO COURT. IF FACT HE RESCHEDULE THE NEW DATE HIMSELF AND THEN CHANGED THAT DATE AS WELL. DISGRACE TO THE BLACK COMMUNITY BECAUSE OUR PEOPLE ...ARE HIRING HIM AND HE IS NOT DOING US ANY JUSTICE. HE DOES NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. HE IS DRAGGING THIS CASE ALONG AND IT BREAKS MY HEART TO HAVE THIS HAPPENING. DFCS CASE WORKERS SAT ON MY PATIO AND TOLD ME STRAIGHT UP THAT THE CASE IS NOT MAKING PROGRESS BECAUSE OF HIM!!!!!!!!

I do NOT know where to start Kimani lacks all integrity. I started my case almost 2 years ago and he still has been unable to provide resolution. He never calls me I am always calling or texting and he doesn't reply. If he replies it will lies and excuses "I'm having personal issues" my wife had a b...aby" none of which matter to me when doing business. This to the average person and lawyer is an open and close case, yet Kimani has been unable to manage my case with care I feel it deserves since i trusted him. I'm so disappointed and I do NOT wish this experience on anyone. lesson learned all referrals are good referrals do your homework. If you are wondering the status of the case opened 11/10/2015 - still open with no clear direction or ETA. last contact with Kimani - I texted him 7/10/2017 - he texting me back laughing faces( note there was no joke) so still waiting a reply

Friend reffer me to him from that phone call he was in it like asap.... very understanding and very reasonable I wished I would have had him since day one for my fiancé they took my money and didn't di anything they were supposed to do I hope he gets this FTA off my fiancé. So far I'm I'm happy with... the way he has jump right on it for me. Without being money hungry like these other attorneys
