Kerensa Elizabeth Davis

Prior to joining Slepian, Schwartz, & Landgaard, Keri practiced real estate law for 8 years with a law firm in Buckhead, where her legal work focused on residential and commercial real estate closings, construction lending, foreclosures, short sales, and REO’s. She served as an advisor and legal counsel for various multi-family residential, townhome, condominium, mixed-use, retail, office, apartment, and warehouse developments. She also has extensive drafting experience across various aspects of real estate transactions, including covenants, leases, deeds, agreements, commercial documents, modifications, corporate transactions, and custom mortgage loan documentation.

In addition, Keri is also a registered Mediator in Georgia’s 6th District. Keri is able to mediate general and domestic cases that come through the court system as well as private matters between individuals and/or companies before the dispute goes to court. Mediation is a voluntary, private, informal and confidential process in which Keri guides the mediation without any formal rules of evidence or procedure. Mediation has been proven highly successful with an 85% settlement percentage nationwide. Keri is able to mediate all general matters, including, but not limited to: elder issues, including nursing home issues and family inheritance issues; landlord-tenant disputes; homeowner versus contractor disputes; homeowner versus neighbor disputes; contract disputes; corporate disputes; and a variety of domestic relation disputes and child support matters.

Keri earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and earned her Juris Doctor from the Walter F George School of Law at Mercer University.

Keri, her husband, Keven, and their 3 young children recently relocated from North Atlanta to the Fayetteville area. They are already active in their new church, Southside, and in their local school system.
