If you want professionalism and good communication, DONT HIRE HER!

Just as the other review stated, Mrs. Walls DOES NOT communicate. You will go weeks without any response from her. When you finally get a hold of her, you have to refresh her memory of who you are and what was the last update that she gave you regarding your case. At one point, she uploaded documen...ts onto my “My case” portal regarding another person’s divorce proceedings, not mine! The filing process for my divorce went on for over a year and a half. This attorney basically made me feel embarrassed in front of the opposing party. And of course, she was late the day of my hearing! I was relieved when my divorce was finally over, but I was ecstatic that I no longer had to deal with this attorney. I know people can change and was hoping that she would possibly have a better experience when I recommended her to a friend in need. That was a huge mistake! It is the same story all over again. We’re reporting her to the state of Georgia!! DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY. Represent yourself before you consider her.

I could give a more detailed response regarding this person's experience with my representation. This is the first time, I've heard this complaint and therefore, I cannot pinpoint who this person is, or if they were even an actual client of mine. I make myself easily accessible to my clients via cell phone, which most attorneys do not do. I communicate via text message and on MyCase. I agree that communication is important, and I truly wish this client would have picked up the phone to schedule an appointment to come in to address their concern directly with me first so that I could have an opportunity to resolve their concerns before leaving a negative review. If there isn't any expressed concern from my client(s) at the time of representation; how am I to know they are unsatisfied? I have many cases; I review my file to refresh my memory each time my client(s) call unless they call and I'm away from the office, that's common business practice. There are a lot of moving parts to family law cases and it would be impossible to remember each case from the top of my head without refreshing my memory by reviewing my notes. I apologize to the client who left the negative review or to any client who may feel a certain way about my representation. I am human, I am not perfect. Sometimes mistakes are made. Being late to court due to having a conflict with multiple cases is not unusual or even being late due to unexpected traffic is not uncommon. Attorneys can have several hearings in one day and when this occurs, conflict letters are timely filed informing the court of the order of representation. I can't take back this client's experience; but if they expressed their concern the moment it arose, I could have fixed the problem instead of keeping silent until the case concluded. I learned long ago, that if you have something to say, the best thing to do is to say it, "close mouths don't get fed". Maybe this person didn't get the results they wanted. Family law cases that are contested can take a year or longer. Everyone is not going to get the results they hoped for and sometimes, you may simply have a horrible case to begin with. I'm not a miracle worker; I pride myself in being upfront and honest and I don't believe in sugarcoating anything. I would rather tell you how it is at the beginning than provide you with false, unrealistic expectations. Some people mistake this as "unprofessional"; most of my clients appreciate it. My approach may be a little too much for some people to handle. In my fee agreement, it states that you can fire me at any time; I don't hold my client's hostage and force them to remain if they are unhappy with my representation. I can take constructive criticism; I will not be upset if you want to express your concerns about my representation. I invite you to express your concern with me; that way, I can do what's needed to fix the problem on my end. Typically, unhappy people leave reviews and out of the negative reviews about 30% of them are not my client. Sometimes they are, or opposing party, or often the same person will leave negative reviews multiple times. Welcome to the life of a family law attorney. I have over 50 active cases at one time. I can't make everyone happy, and sometimes mistakes are made; but I try my best to provide updates and my clients with good representation. If I do not respond fast enough, call the office so I can place you on the calendar to discuss your concerns with me first.

Hired for Accident Case

I was involved in a 5 vehicle accident December 2018. I contacted attorney Tynesha Rhodes Walls soon after. I was initially impressed with her promptness in returning phone calls as well as her knowledge of accidents. Although not an attorney, I was a claims processor for 13+ years and am quite knowl...edgeable of the claims process. The questions I asked which I already knew the answer to but was testing her knowledge, she immediately answered correctly. I felt comfortable with her professionalism and THOUGHT she would be the perfect fit for my case. Everything started out great and her paralegal was just as knowledgeable and efficient as Ms Rhodes Walls. Soon after, the paralegal left and everything went downhill. I went into her office for a face to face meeting, was shown a “draft” of what was allegedly already sent to the at fault party’s insurance company. When I requested, on numerous occasions that the original document be uploaded to my case file, there was excuse after excuse and finally after a couple of weeks of this, I was advised it had never been filed. Everything was blamed on the new paralegal. I spoke with Ms Rhodes Walls again, was told I had a good case, everything looked good, all medical records had been received, my demand would be sent by a specified day and I would receive confirmation. That day came and went with no contact until I reached out to her and was then told she didn’t have all of the medical records. That was over a month ago. I have since reached out twice, NO RESPONSE. And I do have proof of all correspondence between myself as Ms Rhodes Walls. A case that should have been settled by now, 6 months later, still hasn’t began. The constant lies and now lack of communication is unsettling and unprofessional. I would not under any circumstance recommend using this attorney.
