Divorce

I had a Divorce in 2016 and Alfred attorney Made very easy in very quick did not have to do much to handle it .Just Sign some papers and keep it moving One of the most happiest day of my life.Best think I did in a long time.Thank you for your help

A great Lawyer for any divorce case

Attorney Alfred is a wonderful lawyer who cares about her clients. She handled my divorce case and has provided emotional and legal support for me through out my entire case. She always answered my calls and advised me of options that provided the best outcome for my case. Her fees are very reasonabl...e and she is very knowledgeable of Georgia family law. I would recommend her to anyone that is going divorce and doesn't know how to handle it.

Divorce

I hired this attorney for my divorce case, not knowing she would be dishonest and not trustworthy. Through my process It was very hard to contact her. I made a bad decision in choosing my attorney :(

This person is likely a fraud who is hiding behind anonymity on the internet. I have not been dishonest with any client, and in fact client's appreciate the fact that I do not sugarcoat things and do not provide them with false hope and unreasonable expectations. I have only had one individual in the past year be dissatisfied with me, and it had nothing to do with me and all to do with him wanting me to charge a flat fee for a divorce after we discussed the fees and he reviewed and signed the retainer agreement, which was clear. Needless to say, the representation was terminated by me before it even started. If this is this individual, then his review is malicious and misguided for obvious reasons.

Perfection @ it's best

Janice was very professional, supportive, knowledgeable, consistent, reliable, and very informative. She walked me through the entire process step by step. She explained how things would work for me, my ex-spouse, and my daughter to ensure I was making the best decisions not just for me and her but f...or my daughter as well. i would recommend her to any and everyone!

Horrible Attorney

I hired this attorney for my divorce. This attorney is horrible. She's not knowledgeable about laws pertaining to Divorce, and should not have taken my case. I paid this attorney her upfront fee of $2,000 and did not receive the services as promised. This attorney also went as far as to quit my case,... leaving me with no legal services or money to obtain legal services. I ended up signing my half of retirement benefit, equity in the house (which resulted in myself and children having to move into an apartment with children), spousal, resulted in additional monies to be paid out. This caused a bigger financial burden than I already had. This attorney decided to sue me and I am on total and permanent disability, I can not afford to pay her additional money for services that were not rendered cause me file bankruptcy relief. This will cause my credit score to go down drastically.

None of this is true. I have only withdrawn from one divorce case because the client has diagnosed psychological issues (which I found out about after I took her case) and kept going back and forth about what she wanted to do, including making me reach out to opposing counsel with terms of settlement, having us draft all the paperwork and then changing her mind. I had to convince her twice throughout the case to keep fighting the divorce to make sure that she got what she was entitled to. Also, she kept misrepresenting things we discussed, and kept badgering me via email after I told her I was sitting in the hospital in labor. I continued to work on her case even after her retainer ran out and she had no money to pay me. Finally, as of today's date, I have never sued any client for attorney fees, even though this client owes a significant balance. Note also that she voluntarily moved out of the uninhabitable marital home prior to me withdrawing from her case and before the divorce was finalized.
