Shana Rooks got be justice

I was told prior to hiring Attorney Rooks that she was not cheap but she was good lawyer. I agree that you get what you pay for. I am a father who was awarded custody of my daughter. While it cost me a pretty penny, Ms. Rooks was great to work with and she got me what I wanted most. I don't agre...e with the other postings. I know she will withdraw from your case if you don't pay and I was on the verge of that but she worked with me.

Many know her as Shana Rooks "the Crook"

I agree with the other poster. She is more concerned with money then providing complete service to her clients. She either withholds information or just doesn't seem to know all of the information to help her client. She does anything to make sure her client spends as much money on her as possible...

Client Review

Ms. Rooks seems to be more concerned with money than providing a legal service. Her staff was unprofessional and dishonest. Upon expressing my concerns to Ms. Rooks, she was arrogant and abrupt. I would think twice about employing her services.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
