Amazing Attorney

Attorney Rooks is an amazing Attorney. She made sure she gave 100%. I was confident that she was doing everything to ensure my best interest came first. She was always expressing concern for what was important to me and that is MY Child. She is the best and I am so grateful for her.

"Results"

I recently went through a ruff divorce in Clayton County Ga. I started out with Attorney Randall Keen who's office is located in Jonesboro, Ga. He dropped me right in the middle of my case because I couldn't give him my reminding balance 3000.00 all at one time and instructed me to come and pick up... my file from his office. After picking up my file I began to do some research for another attorney boy did I chose the right one "Shana M. Rooks". I meet with her immediately and explained my situation to her regarding my divorce and my finances at the time. Attorney Rooks was willing to take my case and work out a payment plan that worked for me. Attorney Rooks is a powerful Attorney in the court room she fight hard for me when the odds were against me. In spite of all the odds against me she won my case, I got to keep my child and was awarded Child Support she knows her STUFF. If I ever were to find myself on the other side of the Law I would not think twice as to who to call and neither should you. If you want RESULTS Attorney Shana M. Rooks is the attorney to contact.

Respectable and Trustworthy

I have the privilege of having Ms. Rooks represent me for the past 6 years in two different family cases including a divorce. I had an attorney representing me in my first case and I was headed no where fast. I was seeking custody of my son and the odds were stack against me, from what I was being to...ld by my first attorney. Because I am a man I was told that it was next to impossible to accomplish gaining custody of my son even though the circumstances were completely in my favor. Needless to say, I hired Ms. Rooks and she fought for me from day one. She made sure my case was heard and that the facts came out and not long after I was granted full custody of my son. She is very knowledgeable and attentive to all the details that even before the outcome came, she had completely won me over. Her professionalism and tenacity was greatly needed in my case and I am forever thankful to her and her staff. That being said, years later when I ran into legal obstacles again I didn't hesitate to call on again. I knew I had no worries with her on the case and the best outcome was always on the table and achievable with Ms. Rooks leading the way. The outcome was once again favorable to me and my children, her advice is priceless and I can't say enough about her tenacity and willingness not to back down from any outrageous demands. Her confidence and courage is more than enough to lift you up, even in the darkest of times during court battles. I am telling you this will be one of the best decisions you could make choosing Ms. Rooks to go into battle with you. Having her charting your course will assure that you are on the right side of the scale, make no mistake this is the best thing you can do for yourself and your legal interest.

review

I hired her for assistance in a child custody case. Just wanted her to assist bringing the opposing party to the table for mediation. But unfortunately Ms. Rooks has the bedside manner of a porcupine. Very little attention to detail, very little human-to-human concern for other people in the same ...room. Horrible; inconsistent communicator, both in person and via email. Doesn't follow through with simple tasks: "Oh yeah, I'll file that paperwork first thing Monday morning." Never happens. Have to remind her who you are when you call, etc. She's short tempered, short email exchanges (even after you've taken time to write in detail about your case), quick outbursts, etc. Always about the money prior to any further discussion of your case. Not diplomatic at all in cases where the tone of the person communicating the message can be just as important as the message itself. And isn't it generally assumed that your attorney (or at least her clerical staff) should be able to spell their client's name correctly in court documents, or perhaps spell the opposing party's name correctly? I guess not. She's zero for two on that count. Not only would I say not to hire her, I'd recommend running - not walking - away. If it were possible to give less than 1-star, I would give them to her in every category. Not just a borderline horrible attorney; but a borderline bad person.

Shana Rooks got be justice

I was told prior to hiring Attorney Rooks that she was not cheap but she was good lawyer. I agree that you get what you pay for. I am a father who was awarded custody of my daughter. While it cost me a pretty penny, Ms. Rooks was great to work with and she got me what I wanted most. I don't agre...e with the other postings. I know she will withdraw from your case if you don't pay and I was on the verge of that but she worked with me.
