My practice focuses primarily on wills and estates, probate, criminal defense, and family law matters. Whether it is through a death in the family, criminal charges, a custody/support dispute, or a divorce, it is safe to say that my clients usually aren't thrilled to need my services because it means something negative has occurred. My practice areas are very emotional, and the outcomes of these types of cases can deeply affect my client's day-to-day lives. Accordingly, I take very seriously my responsibility to counsel my clients through these difficult seasons, taking extra care to ensure he or she understands the legal process along the way, and zealously advocate for him or her in the courtroom, if necessary. My approach is simple: I try to be the attorney that I would want if I were going through something similar.
In 2019, I graduated at the top of my law school class, with honors, and had the pleasure of serving as Editor in Chief of the John Marshall Law Review. During my time as Editor in Chief, I organized and hosted a Continuing Legal Education seminar on Georgia's Accountability Courts with some of the state's most brilliant leaders in criminal justice reform. I also wrote two scholarly pieces, one on Georgia's proposed e-filing mandate (now law) and one on the 4th Amendment, both of which were selected for nationwide publication in the legal search engines attorneys use to help learn and understand the law in their jurisdictions.
When I am not advocating for my clients, I love spending time with friends and family, especially my husband and our daughter. In my free time, I love listening to music, getting lost in a good mystery story, and cooking for all of my loved ones.
My office, Brown, Barbour, & Thrailkill, P.C., offers free and confidential phone consultations. Please call to schedule, and I look forward to the opportunity to earn your business!

Will, power of atty, transfer deeds
Taylor did a wonderful job with working with us on a time sensitive Will and Testament, power of attorney, deed transfers. Highly recommended!

My mother's revised POA & Will
Taylor did an excellent job revising my mother's POA & Will. Each aspect of the process was fully explained to my mother in a clear, concise, and cordial manner. We would not hesitate to retain Taylor for future legal matters should any arise.
