Two, yes two years ago I gave John Forbes $1400.00 to help with me getting visitation with my granddaughter in GA. At first he was attentive with phone calls only or text. Seven months latter, still no court date or phone calls I contact him and ask what can I do to expedite my case and I asked if h...e needed more money. I live in FL so he gave me his account number and I went down and deposited $500.00 more into his account. Since then I was told I had a court case, took time off from work, driving to Atlanta for my court date he text me and said that it was postponed and he would advise me when it was rescheduled. That call never happened, I told him this was ridiculous and I wanted my money back. Imagine my surprise when he refunded me $300.00, for what! I spoke with my family and they said to ask him to continue with the case due to him being familiar with the case and keeping the $1100.00 for whatever little thing he did. Then came covid.... He text me once to say he had covid and would get with me once he was over it. That was October 2020. I text him (he didn't answer his phone) on 11/23/2020 I text him that I was trying to be patient but was getting hard to do, no response. I text him again (still not answering phone)Feb 8, 2021 Asking if this was hi normal business practice, still no response. I text him again 3/15/2021 still no response. On March 17,2021 I text him one last time. At no point did I get any response from him, I even checked obituaries to make sure he did not succumb to covid and nope he did not. Still to this day 5/3/2021 I have yet to hear from him, I basically flushed 1900.00 down the drain for something as simple as getting to see my granddaughter who lives with her other grandparents. Since then I have on my own addressed the other grandparents, we pick my granddaughter up and go off for a few hours with no help from John Forbes. He talks a good game but a wolf in sheep's clothing.

I hired Mr. Forbes to represent me in a "family law" matter and I'm very pleased with the progress in this tiring case. Mr. Forbes has gone above and beyond to represent me effectively and has had my best interest in mind the entire time. He is very effective, very knowledgeable and keeps me i...nformed on all matters concerning the case. To be honest he has gone above and beyond to see that my case was handled timely, properly and with care taking into consideration it effects my children.

I was wrongly accused of having attacked my ex-husband and stabbing him. Mr. Forbes was the only person who believed in me. from the time he took my case until the time we had my trial, Mr. Forbes was constantly in touch with me and went so far as to give me his personal cell phone so that I could ...reach him anytime. When we finally went to trial, I was scared to death, but after a three day jury trial, it took the jury less than 1 hour to come back with a not guilty verdict. If it hadn't been for Mr. Forbes, I may still be in prison.

I hired Mr. Forbes with trust that he would actually help me in some way, in fact he was very destructive to my life. I was charged with disorderly conduct in six months ago and hired him to represent me. He advised me to plead not guilty and deny the plead negotiation the prosecuting attorney offer...ed me. Due to the nature of the case I was not allowed to return to my home until the case was completed or unless I accepted the plead negotiation. In June the offer was to accept 1 year of probation, 80 hours of community service, and the ability to return to my home immediately. I literally paid $1000.00 to postpone the case six months (denying me going home), only to go to court to be educated on the fact that because of my previous infractions with the law I was ineligible for the plead he was "trying" to accomplish for me. So I had to accept the plead wasting six months. I could have been home six months ago, been halfway through my probation sentence, completely done with my community service by now. He took $1000.00 from me to do this. What a crook. He should have known that I was ineligible for that plead, but instead we went all the way to the court date for the prosecutor to say I wasn't. What an awful person. Do not use this attorney unless you want to be shammed.

paid Mr. Forbes a very large retainer. Was very responsive until he recieved my money after that the only way to reach him was by text or email. Will NOT call you back EVER. Do NOT trust him. He said he was negotiating with other atty and come to find out he NEVER had spoken to him. Will not res...pond to telephone calls. Never informed me of any changes with my case. DO NOT USE HIM
