Doesn't mind leaving you in jail, not one little bit.

From my own experience, with some heinous (False) charges, I paid Drew a $5000 retainer, he was good for ONE Bond hearing Request, that hearing occurred on Dec. 12th, 2023, The JUDGE at the hearing, Judge Cannon, from the bench says, "Let's let this investigation play out more, bond denied, we can r...e-visit this in 30 days, or after the January portion of the holiday court-break" For Me, No January bond hearing.. 60 days later, in February, NO BOND HEARING.... MARCH (You guessed it) NO BOND HEARING). with an attorney like Drew Bishop, who needs those outlaws at the Prosecutor's office to screw over the civil rights of their ADC inmates??

Abandoned me completely after 10yrs as my attorney and a $5000 retainer

Drew Bishop was my trusted, and always on point, go to attorney for the past decade. I saw him as more than just my attorney, after ten years and multiple cases, I also thought of him as my friend. This past year and a half has been the worst of my life. My, now 3 y/o daughter, was taken away from me... last year by DeKalb County DFCS, when my ex, her father set me up in an act of revenge for having ended our relationship. He is a drug addict, drug dealer, has multiple felony battery convictions for acts of extreme abuse he committed against me, and because, he is a deadbeat dad to not just my daughter, but to 4 other kids he’s had by three other women. Abused all of them, the mother’s and his own kids, and never paid a dime in child support. I have fought for my life over the past year and a half against my ex and his abuse, and with the SEVERE corruption that exists in DeKalb County. DeKalb DFCS is an abomination, at best. DeKalb officers aided my ex, while he had an active warrant for his arrest in Fulton County, to remain on the streets while he tortured me, literally, for four straight months last summer, from June 19-October 6. Drew Bishop was the one who called the police to my home the day that led to my daughter being removed. He promised he would be here for me in the case that followed. I paid him $5000, which is double his retainer, which he said was because “DeKalb County is difficult..” hence the doubles fee. Drew has not returned countless calls, emails, texts, or even met with me in person not once since being hired on in December! He has completely abandoned me. I had a dfcs hearing last week that I had to attend, humiliated, without legal counsel. He still won’t return any calls. And now my daughter is going to be taken from me permanently.

Minus one star

If u want someone who is not an ambulance chaser — then call someone else!! Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with an attorney. He simply “ couldn’t care less,” about you or the case. Never returns phone calls and since he is a one man office, doesn’t have any help to return the call...s he ignores. Run, don’t walk, to someone else who went to a real law school!!

Drew can handle misdemeanors. Don’t go to him for anything more complex that that.

My family has actually used Drew for a few cases. Sure, he can handle a simple misdemeanor but that is all. He’s a lawyer that took the bar, got lucky to find a job (“became a partner of”), and never continued to do better than the bare minimum. Communication skills are embarrassing. His firm doe...s not have the man power to do much. He always claims that he is in court and can’t answer the phone. Drew makes false promises. There are so many more great lawyers out there who charge the same and can do so much better. Please go with another attorney. After hiring a better lawyer, we find out he has done nothing. It’s been NINE months and he hasn’t filed an entry of appearance. Just don’t trust this man.

Just who is he representing ?

Mr Bishop was hired to collect money for work performed at business. That was in October 2010 and it is now January 2013 and no court date as of yet At first he would respond with" It takes time to get on the calendar." or "There are cases more important than yours in the eyes of the court." T...hat was my answer from him the first year to year and a half when I had to call him to see where we stood. Notice that I said " I had to call him." Mr. Bishop has NEVER called me to update me on my case. Now he just will not return calls, emails or text messages.
