David Anthony Russo

Mr. Russo is a partner at Herman & Russo P.C. He is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to founding Herman & Russo P.C., Mr. Russo served as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer with the U.S. Army, and held various positions in law enforcement and criminal justice. He has served in Active, Army Reserve, and National Guard assignments. While on active duty with the Army, Mr. Russo served in differing roles that included legal assistance attorney, trial counsel, operational law attorney, and in military intelligence.

In his legal assignments, Mr. Russo has assisted thousands of soldiers with a wide range of legal issues that have faced them while both at home and abroad. He has also served as a company commander during the first phase of Operation Iraqi Freedom and recently spent a year in Baghdad, Iraq as part of the command responsible for all military medical operations in the country. Mr. Russo has been awarded the Bronze Star and Army Commendation Medals for service in Iraq.

He is an active member of the American Motorcycle Association and has volunteered at the Georgia Aquarium. He is an avid scuba diver. He is also a member of both the Atlanta LSU and New Orleans Saints fan clubs, Alfa Romeo Club of America and BMW Motorcycle Owners of America.
