also known as Lynita Mitchell-Blackwell Esq.
I believe estate planning is about much more than preparing documents. It is about protecting the people you love, preserving what you have worked hard to build, and making sure your wishes are honored when you are no longer able to speak for yourself.
I am Lynita Mitchell-Blackwell, Esq., Managing Attorney of LMB Law Offices, P.C., and an estate planning attorney and legacy wealth strategist serving individuals and families throughout Georgia. My practice focuses on estate planning, wills and trusts, probate, guardianships and conservatorships, and strategies designed to help families protect and transfer their assets with greater clarity and confidence.
My approach to estate planning is rooted in a simple belief: the greatest asset in your estate plan is you.
Before we talk about who receives your property, I want to understand what you have built, who matters most to you, what concerns keep you awake at night, and what you want your legacy to make possible. From there, we can create a legal plan designed around your real life, not simply a stack of documents.
My background in both law and accounting gives me a unique perspective on the intersection of family, business, assets, and legacy. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida A&M University and my law degree from Georgia State University College of Law. Before establishing my legal practice, my professional experience included work with global firms PwC and Deloitte.
I am licensed to practice law in Georgia and Alabama and have been recognized as a 2026 Georgia Super Lawyer in Estate Planning & Probate. I was also selected to The National Black Lawyers Top 100 and have served on the Super Lawyers Blue Ribbon Panel.
While I am grateful for professional recognition, the work that matters most happens across the table from my clients.
Families come to me because they want answers to deeply important questions: How do I protect my children? How can I avoid leaving my family a legal mess? What happens if I become incapacitated? How do I protect the wealth I have created? What should I do about an aging parent? How can I make things easier for the people I love?
Those are not merely legal questions. They are questions about love, responsibility, family, and legacy.
My goal is to make estate planning understandable and approachable so that you can make informed decisions without being overwhelmed by legal terminology or fear-based conversations about death.
I don't simply want my clients to leave something behind. I want to help them leave things in order.
You have worked too hard to build your life, family, business, and wealth to leave their future to chance. Your legacy deserves a plan.
