Lisa Ann Johnson

I usually don't post on sites such as this, but with "Lucille" and "a client" posts, I felt I had to let everyone know what a great person Ms. Johnson is. She takes every client's issues to heart and bends over backwards to do what she can for each of them. I personally consulted with her on a fami...ly matter. She very quickly told me she could not assist me, but directed me to several very good folks that could. She met with me AFTER hours and on her own time. On top of that, she followed up with me to make sure I didn't need anything else. In addition, per her demographics, Ms. Johnson plainly states she has been an attorney for 6 years, not "100 years". As well, she states she does "family, Medical malpractice, Divorce, and separation"....not criminal! I highly recommend Ms. Johnson if you have any of those needs. Doing what I do for a living, I'm very familiar with most of the attorneys in the metro Atlanta area and I also know that Ms. Johnson does not "miss" court appearances.....however, as in almost every other attorney's life, there are times when one can become double-booked. All courts also understand this, and have always made adjustments to accommodate for the involved attorneys best they can. Ms. Johnson, along with most attorneys, don't just "miss" a court date, unlike some people who waive their hearings to just put off the inevitable.

A classic case of bait and switch. Lisa offered me assurances that my case was settled before I came to a court room. Only to surprise me on the very day of the case with an about face to her earlier statement. She then tried to encourage me to take a plea without looking at the entirety of the e...vidence in that case. I kept on saying no, and she kept on pressing. At the end I was given misleading information and frankly, as someone who has never been convicted of any criminal act, I felt like she took advantage. The last memory I have of her is asking cash money without offering a receipt for her services.

I would not reccommend Ms. Johnson to family, friends or a stranger. I do not feel that she knows the laws, but trys to convince you she does. Ms. Johnson is really bad about telling you how she has done this, and this and this with another case..well that is all great but what are you doing for MY c...ase? Never any answers, and never any solutions. I felt she was rude and did not believe me. I also always had to talk to her receptionist who would literally tell me one thing and Ms. Johnson would end up telling me another. I have many emails and documents where I can stand behind what I am saying with them saying the wrong things. I also was told that I was sent things that I never was, as I have everything in order.. and of course these things were majorly important. She also filed my case incorrectly, she also would make decisions and not even tell me about what she had decided for me.

I hired this attorney for a criminal defense case. First off, Ms. Johnson does not know the law yet portrays to have been a practicing attorney for 100 years. She is slack in that she refuses to return calls once she is hired. Ms. Johnson is rarely on time to court, if she even shows up! Hopefully, ...this attorney will go back into medicine and let's hope she's better at that!!
