Biography
Dawn worked in various hospital ICU settings as a critical care registered nurse in her first career, gaining fourteen years of critical care nursing experience before pursuing a law degree. After practicing law for 15 years on the defense side, Dawn established The Firm of Dawn M. Jones, LLC to obtain justice for clients and their families for injuries resulting from malpractice, slip/trip and falls, car accidents, nursing home negligence and other circumstances related to injuries caused by someone else.
Dawn is a member of First Congregational Church United Church of Christ and serves on its Usher Board. Dawn has held and currently holds several leadership positions in State and local bar associations and non-profit organizations. And Dawn is the recipient of numerous awards and honors recognizing her for her work in the community and in the legal profession.
Dawn received a Law degree from Georgia State University College of Law, a Master of Science degree in Critical Care Nursing/Clinical Nurse Specialist from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Virginia. Dawn is licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia and is admitted to all Georgia state courts and to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Dawn LOVES to travel and has two dogs, Jack and Meadow.
