Patricia Ann King

I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in 1984 and my Juris Doctor Degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in 1988 and practiced in Marco Island, Florida, and Naples, Florida from 1989 to 2006. My major practice area from 1989 to 2000 was in Civil Practice, focusing primarily in the areas of Civil Litigation, Family Law, Commercial litigation and Bankruptcy. From 2000 to 2006, I was the Senior Lead Attorney with Child Welfare Legal Service, Florida Department of Children and Family Services and received the Outstanding Performance Award from the Secretary of the Department during her tenure with the State of Florida. I am one of the Partners of Thompson, Meier & King, P.C. and has been in private practice in Canton since practice focues primarily in Family Law, which deals with a number of family related issues, such as child welfare, adoption, delinquency, termination of parental rights, as well as divorce, annulment, paternit,. legitmation, and issues tiles to those matter.
