Kerrie Christine Kessing

My husband and I consulted with Ms. Kessing on a breech of contact issue. We had not ever been in a situation where we needed legal advice and a friend referred us to Ms. Kessing. Kerrie did a great job of explaining the specifics about the relevant laws and took us through the step by step process ...that would take place in regard to our situation. She helped us set things in motion and encouraged us to fight for our rights and benefits.

I retained this attorney to help modify my child support payments per my divorce decree. I had a substantial change in my employment resulting in a drastic change of income. The law states that these payments are able to be adjusted due to this change. The first step to this process is having my for...mer spouse served by the sheriffs office. This attorney claimed to have filed the appropriate papers with the court to have the sheriff serve my former spouse. My former spouse was never served and this attorney claimed not to understand why it was taking so long. To expedite this process I asked her to hire a private individual, who would also need to be approved by the court, to serve my ex-wife. The attorney claimed to have filed the appropriate paperwork to get this person approved so my ex-wife could be served. Again, the attorney couldn't figure out why it was taking so long to get the service process accomplished. After going through this for about a year I decided to call the court to see if any paperwork was filed on my behalf per my case. The clerk at the court said no. All this time I was being lied to that paperwork was being processed and approved to get this service taken care of. When I confronted the attorney with this information she me a bogus letter containing bogus lies on why she could not represent me any longer. She also committed a conflict of interest while representing me. She also sent me a bogus invoice claiming I owed her an additional $6800. I brought this information to my current attorney who also concluded that the invoice was not even legal. I highly suggest anybody needing legal representation choose a different lawyer.

Ms. Kessing is a superb attorney! Not only did she do a phenomenal job representing me she was like a friend to me too. My situation was an embarrassing and precarious one and not once did I feel That Ms. Kessing judged me, in fact she was a continuous sense of comfort. Nobody else believed in my i...nnocence, not even my own friends and family, but Ms. Kessing had faith in me the entire time. Needless to say we won my case and my freedom! I don't know what I would've done if it wasn't for Ms. Kessing believing in me. My parents wanted me to add that Ms. Kessing kept them in the loop throughout my case (I signed something saying that was ok), and that they are extremely grateful for the comfort that she provided them. When she says she gives personal service she truly means it! if I ever need an attorney again, and hopefully I will not, I will definitely be calling her.

I hired Ms. Kessing several months ago, to represent me in Cherokee County GA. I was dealing with a slew of problems steming from an ex girlfriend. I was a total and utter wreck after what I was dealing with from the year prior. I was being threatened and harassed by my ex for money and my career was... at stake. *I hired Kerrie Kessing for my Family Law case *I was also unaware of the extreme mess my previous attorney made that she cleaned up The mess my first attorney created was a despicable process simply because he was arrogant and didn't listen to me. He ended up filing the inappropriate paperwork w...ith the incorrect "lingo" and in the end my case lasted four years. However, I hired Ms. Kessing to not only clean up what the other attorney did but to handle my case appropriately. That is exactly what she did! I have learned through my experiences people generally hire attorney's to get revenge or to be vengeful towards another person; it has nothing to do with justice. Most attorney's do not seek the truth, nor do they care to. They only care about winning. I have seen many attorney's cause trouble on purpose within their cases simply to charge their client more money in the interim. They don't care if children are involved or if their actions hurt anyone in the process, so long as they win. What an improper use of our justice system. Suffice to say the issues usually continue due to the attorney's. What really makes Ms. Kessing special is that she doesn't like other attorney's, as this was the first thing out of her mouth when I met her. In my lengthy experience with her she knows what other attorney's do and how underhanded they can be. She eliminates the drama and trouble other attorney's seek to create. Ms. Kessing's professionalism is superb. She aggressively protects her clients and she keeps her clients aware of every step of the process. She is one of the very few attorney's I have come across that practices law for the right reasons. She is guided by very clean principles, personable and most assuredly one of a kind. She is quick on her feet under pressure, supportive and dedicated. Additionally, she personally responded to my messages, Always! That is a personal touch you don't find anymore.
