Biography
Taylor D. Murray is an Associate at Meriwether & Tharp. While a Northern California native, Taylor has made Atlanta, Georgia her home. Taylor graduated Magna Cum Laude from Clark Atlanta University in 2011 with a B.A. in Public Relations Management. Taylor then attended the University of Georgia School of Law and graduated in 2016.
While in law school, Taylor demonstrated her knack for dispute resolution by being a vital member of the Business Negotiations Team and winning the Atlanta Bar Association Dispute Resolution Ed Hearing Award in 2016. Throughout law school, Taylor strengethened her dispute resolution skills by becoming a certified Georgia Neutral for general civil matters and being a mediator for those matters in Athens-Clarke county. Taylor also served as the Vice President of Sports for the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and was active in the university’s Black Law Student Association.
Taylor brings a wealth of legal knowledge and experience to her practice. Prior to joining Meriwether & Tharp Taylor handled family law, transactional law, juvenile law, and trust and estate matters for law practices throughout the Greater-Atlanta area. Taylor is also a mock trial coach for the Decatur High School Mock Trial team.
Besides being a passionate advocate, Taylor is a loving wife and mother of two beautiful children.
