Attorney Keith R. Miles is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) who helps individuals and families navigate the legal, financial, and long-term care challenges that often accompany aging, disability, and incapacity.
Keith began practicing law in 1995 after earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law. After relocating to Georgia, he founded the Law Office of Keith R. Miles, LLC in 2008.
Keith’s commitment to elder law is deeply personal. Shortly after opening his firm, his wife was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. During her illness, he personally prepared her estate planning documents and trusts while helping navigate the difficult decisions that accompany serious health challenges.
When she passed away in 2009, the experience profoundly changed his professional focus. Having witnessed firsthand the importance of proper planning, incapacity preparation, and family protection, Keith dedicated his practice to helping others prepare for and navigate similar life events.
Today, Keith focuses on elder law, estate planning, long-term care planning, Medicaid planning, asset protection, and special needs planning for clients throughout Georgia and North Carolina.
In 2023, he earned certification as a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA), a distinction held by only a small number of attorneys nationwide and recognized as one of the highest levels of specialization in elder law.

I never hesitate to refer those needed elder law help to Keith, as I know he can take great care of that person."
"I endorse this lawyer. Keith and I met at a Georgia Chapter of WealthCounsel meeting on LLC formations in May, 2011. I found Keith to be a very warm, caring and competent attorney. It's good to have Keith as a colleague!"
