I cannot say enough good things about Laura and everyone I had the pleasure to work with at Smith & Files these past few months. Their office came recommended to me by the co-worker of my now ex-wife (Gasp!), and I am so glad I chose them. Laura and Sandra in particular were so understanding and pa...tient with me during the whole divorce process. They took the time to get to know me and my situation and they explained everything to me about the divorce process and what to expect (I must admit it took multiple explanations in some cases---that’s where their patience became very apparent). And they kept me grounded during what was without a doubt the most difficult life event I have ever gone through. While I do not anticipate having to call Laura again for *divorce* counsel (since I do not planning on getting *divorced* again), I will most definitely be calling on her for the pre-nuptual planning when I do decide to get married again.

Laura Sclafani handled my son's name change and she was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process. She was very quick on her feet and made everything very easy for us during an extremely difficult time. She handled everything in a very efficient and timely manner. Despite the complications t...hat arose due to the Coronavirus, Ms. Sclafani was able to get our case approved virtually and completed 5 days earlier than our original projected court date. Her hardwork and dedication to our case means so much to our family and we can not recommend Laura and her firm enough!
