Excellent explanations and anticipation of our needs!

Cynthia Mead patiently listened to our situation and asked questions that helped my husband and I think of all kinds of angles and useful alternatives to our rather feeble understanding of our estate and end of life care. She allowed us time to answer preliminary questions and look up our previous do...cuments so that when we met with her we didn't have to make a lot of difficult decisions on the spot. She is experienced in dealing with long-term care, estate planning, care for our children and grandchildren, all explained in terminology that addresses just what we need to do now in our 50s in contingencies for later. When we got to the signing process, Cynthia was still patient, going over each place we needed to sign as much as needed so that we knew what we were doing. We left each meeting knowing we had accomplished so much in areas we had not even considered important beforehand, having little experience with such thorough planning. We also know that she is willing to address changes that come along in our lives as they happen, such as when I inherited land from my father after his death. We didn't anticipate this at the time we planned our wills, but were grateful that Cynthia knew what to do with the papers we received, and was even willing to contact an out of state attorney to get the complete scenario. We have recommended Cynthia to friends and associates and will continue to do so.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
