Teri Thompson, the founder and owner of the LAW OFFICE OF TERI THOMPSON, LLC, has been a practicing attorney for over 25 years and has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1992. She has extensive litigation experience in criminal matters, ranging from juvenile matters to capital felonies. From misdemeanors to the death penalty, she has a proven ability to analyze, investigate, and litigate with extraordinary advocacy in the face of the most demanding pressures.
Driven to serve others, Teri has represented an outstanding number of 21 men and women facing the death penalty throughout the State of Georgia. She currently assists other death penalty attorneys in the representation of their clients. She has also represented political prisoners and performs extensive pro bono work in her community and across the country.
Teri is admitted to the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. She is also admitted to the Supreme Court of Georgia and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
A native of Montgomery, Alabama, Teri volunteers extensively in her community and was recognized in 2012 for her service and dedication to humanity by the Public Interest Law Society at John Marshall Law School.
