As a veterans attorney and advocate, I specialize in helping veteran-owned small businesses maximize opportunities offered by federal government contracting programs. This includes assisting in contract drafting and negoatiions, resolving contract disputes through litigation, advising on compliance with federal procurement laws, assisting with business formation and drafting internal corporate documents.
I also provide cradle-to-grave assistance in applications for the VA's VetBiz Verification Program through the Center for Verification and Evaluation. I have spoken on this subject as a panelist with the National Veteran Small Business Coalition (NVSBC) at its national conference held in Reno; and I have also delivered a webinar on the verification process through the National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NaVOBA).

Highly recommend Sarah
Sarah has been very responsive, professional, trustworthy and cost effective. Don’t be surprised to hear from her on the weekend. She has assisted my startup with Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) certification and vendor contracts.

I highly recommend Sarah Schauerte!
I first attempted to obtain my company's SDVOSB certification through the CVE without council, assuming that being a Service Disabled Veteran the process would be a "gimme." However, the process proved to be very intensive and eventually led to my having to withdraw our VetBiz application during the ...

"I have worked with Sarah Schauerte on a number of occasions - most notably on a Pro Bono Seminar she coordinated and conducted for Veterans. Sarah always impresses with a crisp knowledge of applicable law, but where she really shines is through her compassion.
