I first attempted to obtain my company's SDVOSB certification through the CVE without council, assuming that being a Service Disabled Veteran the process would be a "gimme." However, the process proved to be very intensive and eventually led to my having to withdraw our VetBiz application during the ...pre-decision process. The decision to withdraw and seek council was due to a letter we received from the CVE which was approximately eight pages long and very intimidating – clearly we were/are an eligible SDVOSB (evidenced by our receiving the status,) but we had trouble making heads or tails of the CVE’s detailed regulations and endless requests for clarification letters. Fortunately, after meeting Sarah at a trade show in St. Louis I knew that we had to have her on board with us to navigate the CVE's intricate/complex verification process. Once Sarah came on board with us, she went right to work clearly identifying our issues (many with our corporate documents) and explaining how we should address them in order to satisfy the CVE. After receiving our approval determination shortly thereafter, we were excited but not entirely surprised due to our absolute confidence that Sarah would lead us successfully through the process.

Ms. Schauerte, was retained to provided services for my Veteran Owned Small Business and related representation with government agencies. She also has provided insight and assistance in conducting business with the Veterans Administration and the formation and oversight of various contract issues ...that related to the business operation.
