Monte Davis has been my lawyer since 2011. I first hired him for a DUI case. I was falsely arrested for DUI, I was in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong person. I hired Monte and told him the whole sorted story. He happily took my case, told me “We got this”. 4 to 5 court room battles ...that took 3 years of my life. One of the most stressful times I’ve been through. Monte fought for me, stood by me the whole time and at the end of it all, I got out of the DUI and charged with wreckless driving which was what I was actually guilty of. Monte knows the law and believes in his own knowledge which gives you confidence in your case. Especially one that was being dragged on for years. Can be very depressing going to court for that long. But in the end I was very please with the outcome of my case and it was because Monte was there for me and fought for me. Mr.Davis was retained by me in a criminal case in Polk county Ga in Feb 2018.After retaining Mr.Davis He failed to file an entry on my case,wouldn't deliver a contract of our agreement as requested,and became very unresponsive to calls,emails,and text messages.Infact he would not even except the pre-...paid calls from the Polk county which wouldn't cost him a penny. My wife and family members also tried to contact Mr.Davis,and they to were unsuccessful. So with the lack of communication,and failure to produce a written contract I fired Mr.Davis and asked for a refund of the $2500 we had paid him.After several,several attempts to contact Mr.Davis He finally texted my wife that he would refund $1500,But it would be after a trial that he was having for another client.That was in March 2018,and it's now May 2018 and again he won't answer calls,messages,or communicate in any way,and still has not refunded any of our money.The one time he did answer my call from a different phone number and I questioned him about a refund I was told to stop harassing him if I didn't wanna go back to jail!!! I can't speak on his courtroom manner because I never got that far with my case,but I can speak on his lack of communication,his rude attitude,and his attempt to take your money and avoid contact with you,and or your family.I personally would not recommend this attorney to anyone..

I hired Mr. Davis about a year ago, then recently came here to read the positive & negative reviews. I've hired Monte for three separate cases. Two of which were DUI charges, one of which a very bad auto accident was involved. We came out on top, the charges were reduced with only reckless driving c...harges on both! The third case is a divorce, in which that one is still going because of problems with the spouse. I will admit that sometimes he has been slow on getting back to me, but numerous other times he is spot on, & he calls back within a few minutes. I feel that it's just because he is a successful attorney, & is very busy. I can't expect him to jump at a moment's notice. Although I do expect him to be victorious, which so far, he has been! I have currently, & confidently hired him for a fourth time, regarding a felony charge. When I was arrested, & put in jail, I was out within a few hours, & back to my job, thanks to Jesus & Monte Davis! This particular case is still active, & I cannot discuss the details. But I have faith in Jesus, & that Monty Davis will do what he has done for me in the past....WIN! I will let all of you know how it turns out.
