you get more than your money's worth

Daniel knows what he's doing. It doesn't make sense to pay hundreds more than you have to for a bankruptcy, especially because if you're filing for bankruptcy you obviously don't have hundreds to spare. Daniel made the whole process easy & explained everything every step of the way. I highly recomme...nd him for any bankruptcy.

Bankruptcy experience

Very professional and knowledgeable. Walked me through the bankruptcy process explaining procedures every step of the way (which was incredibly beneficial with my minimal knowledge of the process and repercussions of bankruptcy). Mr. Johnson was easily accessible via phone, email, and in person with... a flexible schedule. He was present during all court proceedings and was supportive and a calming presence during a difficult time.

I would give zero stars if I could

Handled my child custody case and helped reach a settlement out of court. While reaching a settlement he DISTINCLY told me via phone what the terms currently were between my ex and I. I asked him questions about what certain things in the contracts all meant. In the weeks following the court date I h...ave come to learn that everything he told me WAS A LIE. My ex GOT EVERYTHING HE WANTED while I got NOTHING. Everything, from EVERY Saturday and Sunday visitations (he told me one weekend day once a week was what was agreed on), to lies about back due child support, to straight up fabrications about getting support for July the end of the month and again starting the first in August. Ever since that final court date he has not answered ANY of my calls, texts or emails, and meanwhile I am left thousands of dollars down, nothing to show for it, and my family life in shreds. He was the only lawyer that offered $1200 to represent us (everyone else was a $3000 retainer), so like a fool I chose him to represent us. It seemed he was tired of spending so much time on this case near the end of it. I feel completely duped to have trusted A LAWYER I PAID FOR to translate CONTRACTS AND DOCUMENTS FOR ME. Again, he LIED to me, told me what I wanted to hear, to be done with my case quicker. DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER.

A lawyer's duty to keep client confidences has few exceptions and in an abundance of caution I do not feel at liberty to respond in a point-by-point fashion in this forum. Suffice it to say that I do not believe that the post presents a fair and accurate picture of the events.

Do Not Use Daniel Johnson for Bankruptcy

This is the most "Do Nothing" attorney I have ever met. Do not waste your money, he will totally botch your case. I filed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. He was supposed to have filed documents called "Avoidance of Lien" for 4 creditors that had placed liens on my home mortgage. He did not do this! He overlo...oked this very important item. Now I am trying to refinance my mortgage for lower interest and no mortgage company will refinance until the liens are removed. Daniel Johnson REFUSES to return my calls or calls from my mortgage co. He totally knows he screwed up. Now, I have to hire another bankruptcy attorney to do what Mr. Johnson should have done. DO NOT USE HIM! YOU WILL REGRET THE MESS HE WILL CAUSE YOU!
