I believed I had a very strong case for my condition and I filed my original application. Knowing the process and I would be denied initially, I searched for a Law Firm that dealt mainly with SSD, Veterans benefits and that was local so I chose Thomas O'Brian. I was very impressed as I was contacted weekly from his office by Ms. Sugg and was updated at at each step. With Mr. O'Brien taking my case at the point when I was denied, (it was at the 2 months point) he obtained all my medical evidence and presented it to Social Security and was to schedule my hearing at the second denial. I was shocked when I was approve before a hearing was even scheduled. The FOUR months the law firm had my case they presented all my medical evidence very quickly to the SSD approval board and I received my approval.
From start to Approval was 6 1/2 months for me and I know choosing the right lawyer made all the difference, thank you Mr. O'Brien and Ms. Sugg .

I have been fighting my disability claim since 2010. I needed a representative to help and guide me throughout the later stages. Before I went to Mr. O'Brien I asked 2 other lawyers if they could take my case. They replied and denied accepting me because my case was too far-fetched and I had a very slim chance of winning my disability claim. Thomas O'Brien was the last lawyer I asked and he willingly and confidently took my case. This was the best decision I could make and throughout the process even though my case still had a slim chance of winning. Thomas ensured me that he would guide me and do the best he can throughout the entire process. With his knowledge and skills on the case he was able to take my slim chance turn it around to the point where I ended up winning my case. I am proud and fortunate to have my case handled by Mr.O'Brien. I highly recommend Mr.O'Brien because he will fight to ensure that your claim is heard and understood. He is a passionate lawyer with the skills and mindset to ensure his clients are receiving the best representation they can get.

Excellent! I was in a very bad situation, I filed the case myself and was rejected, then hired an attorney specialized in SSDI. I thought he and his team were take care of it for me. Only, I was surprised by the 1st attorney’s paralegal just 2-3 days before the hearing, he fired me and told me that he can not represent me in the hearing. Was not able to speak with the attorney, nor was provided any specific reasons.
I called the court and explained my situation, and was granted continuance, in the mean time was told this is only continuance I was going to get and the judge was not very happy.
Call my families and friends for suggestion, and finally found Mr. O’Brien’s information and wonderful reviews. Called the number, spoke with Ms. Tracy Suggs right away, after explained my situation and my conditions. By the way, Ms. Suggs was beyond wonderful, what a sweet heart with lots of love and patience. The case was moved forward, Mr. O’Brien and Ms. Suggs was on top of it, kept me informed, and obtained all necessary documents themselves. I practically did nothing but kept up the doctor’s visits, medicines, rests, and sleeps.
Went to hearing few months later and was granted FULLY FAVORABLE decision. Can not ask for better team than Mr. O’Brien and Ms. Suggs, they are prompt, professional, courteous, knowledge, and honest.
From initial and repeated denials and fired by my previous attorney, I was fortunate to have a wonderful and excellent team of Mr. O’Brien and Ms. Suggs. They walked me through the process and explained what to expect.
I know I owe you more than just say THANK YOU, but from bottom of my heart THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I am forever grateful.

I endorse Thomas O'Brien. I had a medical billing insurance question and I couldn’t find an answer for my client after having spent hours reading through case law to find the answer. Through a google search, I found that Thomas had taught a seminar on the very same topic and I reached out to him and called. Not only did he return my call, but he spent 35 minutes on the phone explaining the law to me and helping me get past the place where I had been previously stuck. I am most appreciative and would feel confident referring clients to Thomas, as he is very knowledgeable and most helpful.
