Jeanette Maria Van Der Linden

A small, hard-working law firm based in Marietta and servicing Northwest Georgia, including Cobb, Bartow, Paulding, Douglas and Atlanta. My philosophy is to provide solid legal counsel, creating a strong foundation for you to make the best decisions about your future. Believing that the law should be accessible to all, I help navigate the legal waters by knowing the law, knowing the Judges and communicating openly about options available to you, as the client. I have always believed that life should be a series of daring adventures, launched from a secure base, and have always endeavored to live to that motto. Dreams require strong foundations, preparation and and understanding that you have all you need to achieve the ultimate goal, whatever that may be at the time. ​

Who we choose to be as human beings, how we treat others and a willingness to see life to its fullest defines me, and alters every element of my life. While I have been on my own since high school, I have been blessed to have amazing friends and mentors in my life to guide and define the many journeys I felt compelled to take.​

Whether it be a stranger who offered directions, while I was on a solo cycle trip down the east coast or a colleague to offer answers to questions I might have, I learned that no one is an island. I believe that we cannot make this journey alone and each share in the success of the other.​​

That is not just my philosophy for life, but how I practice law and represent my clients.

I am a Member of the Georgia State Bar, the Cobb County Bar as well as the Paulding Bar. I have practiced with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation's Safe families Office, and the Paulding District Attorney's Office. ​

Believing strongly in community and volunteerism, I am a founding board member of the Paulding Child Advocacy Center, a director with McKenna Farms Therapy Services, Volunteers in Service to America and the United Way.
