Superb professionalism from the entire team.

I highly recommend Attorney McKnight as a Family Lawyer. She handled my divorce in the most timely manner possible. Each time I called the firm or anyone from her team called me, all of my questions were answered honestly and clearly. From the first consultation, I was fully confident in her abili...ty to fight for me and she did it with poise and professionalism. Started off Great BUT.....

Everything started off great- consult via phone call- to be followed up by a letter and e-mail to defendant--- that took a week ,after begging for completion .. No return calls or e-mail from staff... VERY FRUSTRATING.. Out several hundred dollars-- on to a new attorney..

Melaniece Bardley McKnight and The Boddie McKnight Law Firm, LLC prides itself on providing excellent customer service and legal representation. This reviewer paid for a consultation. She was never a client of the firm. During her consultation, this reviewer stated several times that she had previously spent thousands of dollars in attorney's fees and litigation expenses and that she was not in a position to do that again. Instead of initiating a new case, I suggested we start with a letter first to see if we could avoid costly litigation. We DID NOT CHARGE this reviewer for the letter nor the certified postage. Huge mistake. The information this reviewer provided during her consultation was different from the terms of the actual court order. We called this reviewer to point out those discrepancies and revised the letter... again, at no charge. Clients who have paid for legal representation are our top priority. I do not find it unreasonable to have a potential client wait a few business days for correspondence they did not paid for. I wish this reviewer the very best!

Interested only in Money, NOT Father's rights

I am a single Father and I hired Attorney Melaniece to represent me regarding child support and visitation. I paid a $2,500 retainer and she appeared for one hour in court and she was late to court in Gwinnett County (she blamed traffic but has been living here for years and should be aware of Atlant...a traffic) and she forgot her glasses which required me to read for her. She questioned how, "I was gonna get her money" in my initial consultation. She's very disrespectful. She was not aggressive and accomplished nothing in regards to a modification. Her advice to me was, "work harder to give her what she wants". I desired to go to court again and she demanded an additional $2,500, which caused me to withdraw.

Myself and the entire Boddie McKnight Law Firm, LLC take great pride in providing exceptional customer service and outstanding legal representation. I have never represented a single father in a child support and visitation case in Gwinnett County. Due to the degree of my astigmatism, it is physically impossible for me to operate a vehicle without glasses or contacts. This is sad and very unfortunate. This is the same woman that wrote the November 9, 2017 post. This former client repeatedly failed and refused to follow my advice. My team and I did everything humanly possible to help her to no avail. I finally withdrew from her case almost a year ago in 2016 after she created a false document using an actual court order from the divorce case, was charged with felony forgery in the first degree, arrested, and punished for the crime. It appears from the online dockets that both her criminal case in Fulton County and her divorce in Gwinnett County were recently finalized and now, a year later (11/09/17), she is trolling me online. I wish her the very best!”
