Matthew Michael Wilkins

I would not recommend Matthew M. Wilkins for trust or fiduciary matters. He sent a calendar invite with no meeting link or call instructions, then called 30 minutes late and treated the resulting confusion as my fault. During the call he was dismissive and was unable to recall points I had made momen...ts earlier, and suggested my situation sounded resolved before I finished presenting the facts. Despite the fact that I contacted him specifically regarding a trust fiduciary breach, he recommended I contact a tax attorney or an accountant, neither of which was relevant to my situation. When I asked for a preliminary opinion to determine whether to retain him, he quoted $500 per hour and estimated it would take five hours simply to tell me whether I had a case, effectively requiring $2500 before offering any assessment whatsoever, with an additional $5000 retainer required to proceed. He did not demonstrate familiarity with fiduciary litigation against corporate trustees. I did not retain him.
