My name is Carlton L. "Buddy" Harris. I am a General Contractor in the Atlanta GA area. Lee Davis is my attorney and has been for several years. He took on a case for me several years ago concerning another General Contractor in Atlanta that owed me in excess of $100k. Mr. Davis was the third attorney I consulted with regarding my case, having each one, in turn, decline to interject themselves into such a "controversial" issue. I was completely discouraged sitting across from him when he said, "May I speak bluntly?" Two phone conversations and a handful of emails ...later, we were before the Judge...for what would be a long and exhausting day, both mentally and emotionally. From two and a half minutes into the final witness' testimony through Mr. Davis' closing arguments, I was on the edge of my seat. You could hear a pin drop in the courtroom that day, as over 25 people sat, mouth's agape, hanging on every next word. He. Nailed. It. His professional calm throughout the, in my opinion, grueling day, gave no indication of the triumph to come. I "almost" wish I had another case for him and his knowledgeable, experienced team. If only to feel like I had 6th row, center tickets to a leading Broadway show. I would say no job is too small, no feat too great...but so far, I had a job too big (that 2 other attorneys declined to take it,) turn into my adversaries embarrassingly simple DEfeat.
