Mr Hill advised us regarding our divorce, and although we had agreed on a few things, and thought we could have him represent us both, he advised that one of us should have our own attorney to represent. I used Mr Hill and my wife went with someone else. This was excellent advise, because our "unco...ntested" divorce ended up taking two years to finally settle, due to my wife's refusal to finalize anything or make up her mind. Mr Hill represented me in my divorce last year. What I thought was going to be an uncontested divorce, ended up as a fight full of unnessary drama, on my husband's part. I was charged a retainer, which should have taken care of the whole mess, but when things became crazy, the retainer was quickly ...used up and I was presented with additional charges for his service. All in all, I think he was fair, considering the number of times I had to call him, and the fight that we ended up having with the ex and his lawyer. I'm happy to say that Mr Hill got almost everything we were fighting for, and in the end, the ex ended up having to pay my attorney fees. Now that it's over, I look back and see what a wise decision I made in hiring Doug Hill to help me through this. I recommend him. He knows the law and is honest (yeah, go figure...and HONEST attorney!) . He was forthcoming with information regardless of it being good or bad news, and he advised me on what he thought we could get without sugar coating it. A no frills, knowledgeable and honest man.
