I have lived in Georgia since 1976 except for the period October 2001 until July, 2003.
I worked as an attorney for low-income families of infants, children, youth and
disabilities from September 1984 until January 2012. My passion is to give individuals
who may not think of themselves as "rich" enough to afford an attorney the opportunity
to hire an attorney that will zealously advocate for their rights and interests.
When I am not working, I love to travel with my wife Teresa. Travel in the U.S. opens
your eyes to different parts of the country and an incredible appreciation of our
country and its people. Travel abroad gives you an unique perspective of
different cultures, languages, and the treasurers of the world. People may live in
different countries but we all have much in common.
Gardening is a favorite past time with long summers and growing seasons. I
love sports both as a spectator and participant. I am an avid Braves, Falcons,
and Hawks fan as well as a Georgia Bulldog. Go Dawgs!

"Torin is my go-to for all cases involving civil rights and education! He is very smart, and seems to know everyone, everywhere!"
"Torin and I were colleagues when we were teaching in the clinical program at the University of Georgia law school. Torin is highly respected by his peers is the profession, and his passion for his work is unmatched. I endorse him as an attorney and a mentor."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have worked as opposing counsel to Torin and have referred clients to him in the areas of civil rights and special education/disabilities. He is an exceptional attorney and an expert in civil rights cases. I highly respect his ethics and professionalism."
"I endorse this lawyer. Attorney Togut is one of the finest attorneys in his state. He is a strong and zealous advocate for his clients and a credit to the legal profession. I highly recommend his family law services and his other legal services as well."
