My husband and I were filing for custody of his 6 year old son. He had never been legitimized and had never been on child support. Lynn was the ONLY attorney who believed in our case. She handled our case as if she were fighting for her own children and didn't charge us for unnecessary things like mo...st lawyers. We were always able to contact her with our concerns and get a response within a reasonable amount of time. We were also able to solidify custody. She is truly amazing at what she does!

I hired Lynn to represent me in a contempt and alimony modification case, she failed me miserably, after allowing my case to drag on for almost 14 months. The initial consultation with her gave me hope that my interests would be protected. Instead, after failing to negotiate any settlement with opp...osing counsel, she put me in front of a new Judge she knew nothing about..... there was no alimony modification granted, although I provided hundreds of pages of E Mails, tax returns, paystubs, monthly bill statements showing increases in my bill payments, job termination, and my filed bankruptcy information showing significant changes in my income, down 34% from when the divorce was finalized, to when I filed for modification. She was not proactive in getting this case resolved, she seldom iniated contact that did not originate from me. She was NEVER proactive in negotiating any type of mutually agreeable outcome with the attorney for my ex wife, and she was totally steamrolled in court by the two attorneys that represented my ex wife in a Gwinnett court. The only settlement that was ever presented to opposing counsel was one that I wrote up and gave to Lynn to present. Not only did 100% of my modification request be denied, I was also ordered to pay $5,000 of my wife's legal expense. There are hundreds of Family Law attorneys in the metro Atlanta area, DO NOT GET ASSOCIATED WITH LYNN STURGES if you want positive results. She was Unresponsive, unaggressive, unassertive, and uninvolved.
