Ashley Scarpetta

Ashley Scarpetta graduated summa cum laude with degrees in Economics and Political Science from King’s College, and received her J.D. from Syracuse University.  

Ashley focuses her efforts at Webb, Tanner & Powell on estate planning and probate administration matters.  She enjoys assisting individuals in preparing their end of life decisions and primarily in taking care of their families.  Ashley is familiar with the negative tax consequences and family disagreements which can arise from a failure to effectively plan for the future.  Ashley enjoys personalized interactions with her clients and strives to more than exceed these individuals’ expectations.  Ashley is concerned with knowing her clients on a personal level so she is able to clearly understand their needs, even those which are not readily seen.  She emphasizes the belief that estate planning is a conversation and not a transaction and is respectful of the fact that situations may change during an individual’s life which can make certain situations delicate.

Ashley graduated from Syracuse University College of Law, where she studied estate planning and taxation under Professor Terry Turnipseed.  While at Syracuse University, Ashley completed the Estate Planning program and was trained in providing solutions to complicated estate planning situations.  Ashley is actively involved in the community in Gwinnett County and enjoys volunteering with her family in many community events.  She attends church at Grace New Hope and strives to help everyone she meets.

Ashley serves as an appointed attorney and guardian ad litem for the Gwinnett County Probate Court.  She has increasingly enjoyed serving those in the community who need representation.  Ashley is well versed in the guardianship and conservatorship processes as well as handling complicated probate matters.
