Horrible law firm! As other people who reviewed this company they copy and paste from other companies forms. STEVEN sent me a contract with ANOTHER COMPANIES NAME ON IT. When I spoke with him on the phone he didn't even listen to what I was needing on my contract or my needs, he just said yeah yeah y...
I worked for many hours on this client’s contract, which unfortunately was poorly drafted had many grammatical and typographical errors, and was inadequate to protect his company. I provided him with a 12 page redline with many modified and additional provisions which enhanced the enforceability of his Agreement. Unfortunately, he did not actually read the changes and instead focused on what he believed were provisions copied from other Agreements. While there was one provision from another agreement, contrary to what the client states, it came from an agreement that I HAD DRAFTED, NOT SOME OTHER ATTORNEY. The client did not want to understand that, regardless of where the provisions came from, they were still providing him and his organization with the protections his original agreement lacked and which he himself did not include in his agreement. Compounding this was the fact that all of his emails regarding this issue were hostile, accusatory, disrespectful, and contained unjustified personal attacks on me and my firm. It is difficult to “make it right” when you are exposed to this and the client refuses to listen or understand. As such, the client did not provide me with any opportunity to make it right.

This is the worst firm that I have ever had to deal with. The simple task of getting great customer service and legal assistance is far removed from this one man firm. I paid Steven Becker, $450.00 to form a business for me. Steven Becker was referred to me from Legal Shield. Legal Shield is appa...
This client unfortunately had "buyer's remorse" when she hired me. One day after she retained me, she asked for her money back, claiming that she hadn't received the services she paid fo (although it had been just one day since I was retained). As the client admitted, I sent her a refund, but she refused to accept delivery of the check; the envelope in which the check was enclosed had been returned to me undeliverable, even though it was sent to the address the client provided. Other than doing what she had requested, and returning her payment as I had done, the client never informed me what else I could have done to make things right.

My project team and I had some fairly extensive challenges in negotiating and documenting a strategic alliance with the owner of certain complementary technology. Steve worked tirelessly to put together a crystal clear strategic alliance agreement that comprehensively addressed the parties' concerns,...

Not only did Steve master and overcome the most complex and nettlesome legal concerns arising from these transacti...

After I orally argued the case before the Appellate Division, Second Department, in New York, the court unanimously upheld summary judgment in favor of my client that the non-competition clause was enforceable.
