Brad Legare

Originally from Charleston, SC, Brad moved to Atlanta
in 1999 to go to law school. Brad met his wife, Cheryl, while attending
Georgia State University College of Law. The Legares settled in
Decatur, GA, in the Oakhurst neighborhood. Brad does not litigate,
leaving that to his wife.

Brad provides a highly personal legal representation
experience, believing that communication is of the utmost importance in
an attorney client relationship. His level of service is unsurpassed,
and Brad only refers clients to other attorneys who operate the same

Brad started The Legare firm for several important reasons:

  • He wanted to start a law firm that emphasized personal service.

  • He has a B.S. in Business, and the true test of business acumen is
to own your own; as such, Brad understands the needs of small business

  • He hates wearing suits and ties, and the easiest way to control the dress code of a business is to own it.

  • He wanted to have a job that didn’t interfere with his live music habit.

  • Perhaps most importantly, he wanted to be able to take his dogs –
Catfish and Moonpie – to work with him. Because of this love of
animals, well behaved dogs are always allowed in the office.
