Silviia Ventzislavova Baykoucheva

Silviia Baykoucheva, a Bulgarian immigrant, is an associate attorney with the Maloof Law Firm in Decatur. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Kennesaw State University in 2010, where she graduated summa cum laude. While at Kennesaw, Silviia conducted extensive research in the area of Non-Custodial False Confessions that was presented at various national conferences.

Silviia earned her Juris Doctorate at Georgia State University College of Law in 2014 and is a Georgia licensed attorney. During law school, she served two years as a student attorney at the Philip C. Cook Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic where she represented clients facing various issues before the Internal Revenue Service and the United States Tax Court. Silviia also gained significant legal experience by interning at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.  Through these experiences, Silviia developed an interest in bankruptcy and tax matters.

Silviia has been a member of the Maloof Law Firm since 2010 serving as a law clerk. During that time, she facilitated the discovery process. In 2015, Silviia became an associate attorney handling traffic violations and misdemeanor matters for the Maloof Law Firm. In 2016, the Maloof Law Firm expanded its civil practice to include consumer bankruptcies.  Silviia will serve as the lead attorney on bankruptcy matters.
