Marcela Ximena Johnson

Marcela Johnson is an associate at Legare, Attwood & Wolfe, where she represents employees who have experienced wage theft, discrimination, harassment, and other workplace abuses. Marcela became a lawyer to advocate for underrepresented people, and she is excited to support workers fighting against labor and workplace injustice.

Before joining Legare, Attwood & Wolfe, Marcela clerked for the Honorable Jill A. Pryor of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Marcela graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School, where she served as a student attorney with the Criminal Justice Institute and the Immigration & Refugee Clinic. She was also a student attorney with the Harvard Defenders, where she represented low-income people in criminal probable cause hearings.

Marcela speaks Spanish and conversational Mandarin Chinese. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Atlanta by foot and public transit, listening to live music, and reading poetry.
