When hiring an attorney you have to know the right questions to ask as if you were in a job interview being interviewed by someone. I took out a TPO to protect myself per the polices request, and I felt I needed legal counsel. I had never been through any thing like this, and I was scared. I called Attorney Daniel's office, and she answered the phone personally. She was in court, and she asked if I would call her office and leave... my name and phone number. She said I will call you as soon as I leave court. So, I called her office, and the person who answered the phone listened to me and said Attorney Daniels will take care of you. For some reason, I hung up the phone knowing I had made the right call. Attorney Daniels did call me as soon as she left court. I prayed to God that I would find the right attorney, and I did. Through this process, I learned how a attorney should treat a client, and that is with mutual respect and understanding. Not only did she advocate on my behalf, but she also gave me guidance through the entire process, which in turn gave me options in the outcome. She explained what to expect, what might happen and her intentions with representation. With her honesty and my best interest from the start, I just knew in my heart I had chosen the right attorney. I understood that she believed in me and would do her best to advocate on my behalf as possible. There could have been several different outcomes in this situation, however, Attorney Daniels listened to my capabilities overall, and the end results were the best possible for me.
