Benjamin Aubrey Mozingo

I had a very positive experience working with Attorney Benjamin Mozingo and the team at Hendrick & Henry Law. Mr. Mozingo was assigned to me as my PD. I haven’t had a good experience with previous public defenders, but BEN IS THE GOAT. I was in a terrible car accident, my dog was with me and she didn’t survive (she was my registered ESA of 9 years) so my heart was absolutely broken. I was rushed to the hospi...tal and never had an opportunity to give an accurate statement to police, etc. I had one drink earlier in the day and after the officer found out, I was automatically put at fault, made to blow while laying on the gurney and it was .04, under the legal limit. Yet I was charged with DUI, failure to maintain lane, and also at fault for the accident. The officers did a HORRIBLE job in their reports, witnesses had changed stories, it was terrible. I was in complete shock and under so much stress, also dealing with depression losing my soul dog. Ben was straight forward with me, gave me my options and led me through every single step. This almost became a jury trial because I did NOT want to plead guilty to something I know I didn’t do. On 9/1/26, Ben met me at the courthouse and said he was going to speak with the prosecutor (solicitor) and be back. His face had me a little worried and then he said “it’s dismissed”. I would plead nolo to failure to maintain lane and pay a fine, which would not affect my license. I gave this man the biggest hug! Not just for me, but for my girl Bella. He fought for both of us in that courtroom and he did it. I don’t plan to have any further incidents with law enforcement, but if it happens, I will be personally hiring Ben. Thank you so very much for everything you did for me. You are definitely FOR THE PEOPLE and I can never say thank you ever enough!!
