Lillian Bristow Lutton

Lily is a senior attorney at Hastings Shadmehry. Attorney Lutton obtained her undergraduate degree from Georgia College and State University in 2015 and her law degree, cum laude, from Mercer University School of Law in 2018. While attending law school, Lily interned at a family law firm and has been practicing solely family law ever since.

Lily is best known for being a passionate advocate for her clients. Lily understands the intricacies of navigating her client’s specific needs. Lily knows the significance of encouraging settlement to avoid long and drawn-out litigation but is not afraid to be aggressive when necessary. Lily is always reasonable and understanding but most would say she is a bulldog in the courtroom.

As an attorney, Lily is best known for her level headedness, her vigorous advocacy for her clients, her professionalism in the court room and her ability to navigate complex legal issues. She has many years of experience resolving cases both inside the Courtroom and out.

To her clients, Lily is best known for her realistic approach and intent listening skills. Lily will not simply tell her clients what they want to hear. She will be forthcoming and honest to avoid unnecessary costs and extensive litigation from the onset. At the same time, however, Lily is very approachable and is always there for her clients. She is incredibly responsive and works well with those who need a more hands on advocate.

Lily, coming from a family of divorce herself, also understands the child’s perspective during the litigation process. Because of this, Lily provides additional insight to her client’s who have children and are facing an impending divorce or custody battle.

When Lily is not advocating for her clients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son. Although born and raised in Henry County, Lily now resides in Gwinnett County and enjoys being close to the city. Lily loves attending Braves games, skiing, hanging at the lake and horseback riding.
