About Janet
Biography
I discovered my passion for family law while taking upper-level psychology courses as a part of my undergraduate studies. These courses often focused on interpersonal relationships and the post-effects of divorce. My practice areas include divorce, separation, custody, child support, legitimation and prenuptial agreements.
As a product of metro-Atlanta, I earned my J.D. degree from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology and minor in Political Science at Georgia State University.
Following my admission to the Georgia Bar, I worked at a large law firm with a concentration on Father's rights that is recognized nationwide. There, I spent years litigating divorce, contempt, custody, and legitimation matters throughout the metro-Atlanta area and other surrounding North Georgia counties. I pride myself on being an attorney who believes in empathy and fairness.

Very unhappy
I consulted with Ms. Fashinasi recently on a modification defense. She bashed the other attorney, talked over me, and only has 1 year experience bouncing from another firm. She had zero knowledge of the local judge and it was crass to speak so poorly about the other attorney not knowing this person...
