Danny Lynn Coleman

Danny represented us in a bankruptcy proceeding. He was very pushy as was his staff. At the end of the day, he failed to show up to our court date. He also failed to make sure our IRS debt was successfully included in our debts discharged. Since we posted an extension, Danny did not advise us that th...is would extend our bankruptcy date. He took no responsibility and we are on the hook for $25,000 that we paid him to include in the bankruptcy. We missed it by 13 days. Unprofessional, late and never prepared. I regret the day I ever stumbled on his name. Oh..his subject expertise noted above is not accurate. He does not specialize in bankruptcy. Run...

Danny Coleman is the most knowledgeable and caring attorneys I have met. He took the time to patiently listen to my needs and took the time to actually understand my unique legal problems. Mr. Coleman and his associates worked on my divorce for several months. While it was a very stressful time, they were always helpful and great to have working on my case. I was kept informed with all developments in my case and all my phone calls and email were returned quickly. Everything came out b...etter than I had expected so I am very happy with the results. Things got very complicated, but they did a great job helping everything settle when it all seemed at its worst. I am thankful for the guidance of Mr. Coleman and the staff.

Upon intake interview we were given wrong information. Did not return calls. Did not even call to tell us that we may lose our home but rather sent a letter which contained the same information we presented at initial interview but then gave us a opposite opinion (7 weeks later). Was abrasive and fea...rful for his own liability. (We have not sought recourse.) Never apologized for potentially costing us our home. Gave us the wrong information in regards to which state we would have exemption under, which we detailed concern about at retention. He has a hard time with admitting a mistake. Will seem warm at first, to obtain client but then does not respond (we could not even pay the remainder of our fee because no one called us back to accept.) and does not , in my opinion, care about his clients. Young lawyer without mentor. I am sure he knows the exemption laws however, he did not care enough to look into them in our case despite the fact that we brought this to his attention. He either outright lied in order to convince us to retain him or he was not paying attention. Please, be cautious. I am not even sure if caution will help but if you choose to use him, watch your own back. (A good idea always but even more so here.)
