Julia Childress Khaled

I am compassionate individual that identifies myself first as a wife, mother, and friend, then as an attorney who provides personal legal planning and representation, focusing on her clients' peace of mind. I am married to Ben Khaled and we have three beautiful children: Joseph, Ava Grace, and Jacob. They keep us on our toes.

At this firm, we hold the highest standard of client services, scholarship and lawyer accessibility. First, I listen closely to clients to understand their goals and concerns. I then work with them to develop a plan of action that reflects their own unique situation. I am committed to helping individuals understand that the foundation of elder law and estate planning is not just saving dollars, but also appreciating the value of planning for themselves and their loved ones making sure to meet their goals.

Clients are very important to me and I want to ensure that they are comfortable in my legal setting, as no one really wants to have to see an attorney. Because of my social work background, I am able to bring to the table an ability to understand

Personally, I lost my mother to pancreatic cancer, so I know both the immediate and lasting impacts of a terminal illness. It is those tender moments you want to remember; not running around trying to tie up loose ends to make sure the proper planning is done. My father remarried, so I became a memeber of a blended family. My father passed away in 2021, and soon thereafter on July 4, 2022, my only sibling and brother, Shawn passed away. I have personally experienced a lot of death, as well as assisted families through the same process. It is my mission field to help families proactively prepare for what we all know will eventually come to pass.

Also, I enjoy educating the public and have made multiple presentations, some of which include the City of Rock Hill, USC Lancaster, York Technical College, Westminster Presbyterian Church, YMCA Silver Fox Club, Hospice, Oakland Baptist Church, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Park Avenue Adult Daycare, Catawba Baptist Church, American Legion and many banks and churches in the Tri-County area.
