We knew Syretta was the ONE we needed from the start. My fiance had to get his 4 daughters out of the claws of 2 Monsters who were severely abusing & neglecting them, his ex-wife and her disgusting new husband. Syretta truly cared about our situation & helped rescue our kids. Dad now has full custody... of the girls with ONLY SUPERVISED VISITATION for the biological mom when & where he deems necessary. Her husband is never allowed to be around the girls EVER!!! Syretta told us she loved handling cases like this because it helped the children so immensely. Shes a shark in the court room but really a genuine sweetheart in person. The girls attended therapy to heal and are now happy thriving young ladies that will have a chance at a life!! Ms. Anderson provides no formal documented agreement with signatures she only requires a $3000 retainer & $250 hour. There was no education on any legal custody issues I was involved in & there were no choices given for outcomes on my case. My case entailed a divorce & my 15 yr old daughter & her f...ather not speaking due to an dispute which had nothing to do with me. The father comes back 1.5 years later wanting full legal custody claiming I estranged the child due to my mental issues. Ms Anderson wrote a counterclaim (which was filed 42 days late) instead of suggesting I had an option of asking for motion to dismiss such a false claim & ask for a Guardian of Litem along with a Mediator. There was never a question why the father was going only for legal custody not physical, especially when claiming I had mental incapabilities which were affecting the child. Instead, Ms. Anderson advised me that my daughter had no say in this matter & I could bring her in for a meeting. Here she would explain the fact that she HAD to see her dad. The next 2 months were spent going back and forth between attorney's to set up a single weekly visitation. The visitation time was set without consulting me. These times conflicted with my work schedule causing additional stress in the home. During the entire case Ms. Anderson's communications to me were minimal. Unless I contacted her I got no information on the status of my case. I had called and texted a total of 50 times in a 2.5 month period because I was getting no information. The only thing accomplished in 2.5 months was a one day visitation which I did not even chose the times for. I never received 1 document from her on the entire case except an initial rough draft email on the counterclaim which needed corrected. I never saw those corrections. I was never told when the counterclaim was even filed with the court. It was filed 72 days after initially written, 42 days late. I only found this information after releasing Ms. Anderson's services on 10/12/16 & paying to get my file from the court. I never received an invoice from Ms. Anderson until I requested one twice. The first request was on 10/4/16. I finally got my first and only invoice of the case on 10/12/16 for 4,195.00. Currently my daughter is in therapy over this case. The therapist has written a letter to the court stating "forcing the child to see dad has causes undue stress & anger." We now have a hearing scheduled for a Mediator and GAL.
